Hello from Wrightwood, California!

Hello World, Family and Friends! Tim and I have made it to mile 369.5, and hitched into Wrightwood, another lovely little town nestled in the Pine forested Mt.s that sit to the west of LA. An amazing trail angel has put us and Lucky Man up in her "extra" red farm house that sits against a south facing hill overlooking a small apple orchard! AND there was a farmers market at which we stuffed ourselves with fresh strawberries, avocados, pears, snap peas and chili cheese tamales. Life is good. :)

The house Delores the Trail Angel let us stay in.  By ourselves.  Immaculate inside.

The apple orchard out front.

Hawkeye, Lucky Man and Golden Ray at the coffee shop.

I stopped here on my thru-hike in 09.  They still had my photo in an album of thru-hikers!
They took our pictures for this years albums.

Over 350 miles... still smiling!

We tell ourselves, "We must always live by water!"  This lake made us both quite happy!

Baby rattlesnakes make hiking more about looking at your feet than looking at the views.  Luckily there were no amazing views this day.

Tim broke down and ate at McDonalds!
